         Intrusive thoughts are defined as "unwanted, involuntary, and often disturbing thoughts, images, or impulses that can be upsetting or distressing. They can be fleeting or more consistent and can range in intensity from mild to unbearable. Intrusive thoughts can be violent, sexual, or disturbing in nature." Intrusive thoughts can really mess with a person's head if they don't learn how to handle them.       To look at things from a spiritual perspective, intrusive thoughts feel like a demonic parasite trying to gain control of you.
