Grounding is the ultimate way to heal your mind, body, and spirit on a physical and nonphysical level. Grounding is something you can do anywhere at any time, you don't need to walk through grass all the time to stay grounded.
Walking through the grass is the ultimate way to ground yourself, but there are other methods.

Grounding is key to having good spiritual hygiene. Some people have jobs in environments where grass is not always available to them, which is why learning other methods is very helpful. Things such as mindful breathing, energy directing, and simple awareness, will keep you stable and grounded no matter where you are and what you're dealing with.

Simply being aware of everything around you can keep you grounded.

An exercise you can do to ground yourself anywhere at any time is energy directing. The simple act of directing energy from your feet and into the ground is a method you can use to keep yourself grounded and stable.

  1. Start by doing 5 deep mindful breaths
  2. Imagine a bright red ball at the top of your head
  3. Imagine what that red ball feels like, it can be warm, cold, etc.
  4. Take one deep breath in, and feel the red ball once again on top of your head
  5. As you exhale, feel and imagine the red ball transfer throughout your whole body, going down to the bottom of your feet.
  6. Take one large inhale, feel the red ball at the bottom of your feet.
  7. As you exhale, feel and imagine the red ball coming from your feet, deep into the ground.
